"Commander" CHRIS BARNETT I grew up in Grants Pass and love living in Southern Oregon. As a graduate of the National Broadcasting School of Radio and Television, I have been in radio since 1988. In addition to KAJO and KLDR, I have worked at KKLZ in Las Vegas, AFN (Armed Forces Radio and Television Network) in Europe, KIXY in San Angelo, TX, and a couple other Southern Oregon stations. I have traveled around the world, with my duties, in the Air Force reserves. Regardless of where I ended up living I always maintained a presence in radio broadcasting. I have a great passion for music and love interacting with my listeners. When I'm not working I'm playing and I can often be found with my beautiful wife and daughters. We attend church weekly and enjoy praising God! The other thing you should know about me is that I thrive on music. I nearly always have music playing and I can't help but dance as I cheer on the Oregon Ducks! Tune-in Saturday mornings on KLDR and Saturday afternoons on KAJO. While I'm on the air, be sure to send me your requests and shout-outs; I'm glad to have you as such loyal listeners. In addition to working at Grants Pass Broadcasting, I also own Realty Executives Southern Oregon and am a reservist in the Air Force. |
