I grew up in southern California (Oxnard and Lancaster). In 1991 I moved to Grants Pass from southern California. For 11 years I worked as a CNS for various nursing homes in Grants Pass.
After working a few odd jobs here and there I decided to go to The Job Council to get some direction. I told my counselor that I always had an interest in working behind the scenes in TV or radio. I ended up getting a one month internship in June of 2006 at KLDR/KAJO. After my internship they told me that they didn't really have anything for me but I pleaded and persisted because I really liked being here. I started out doing various duties working anywhere from five to fifteen hours a week, such as weekend news, setting up remotes and doing behind the scenes for Caveman and Duck games. I refused to give up and in February my persistence and timing paid off... they offered me the full-time Production Manager job. I love it!! This is hands down the best job and place I have ever worked. The people I work with are the best. I couldn't ask for more. It's a great feeling to be associated with KLDR/KAJO. Being at KLDR/KAJO I have experienced a lot of exciting things from new friendships, being introduced to River Valley Community Church and getting to work with interesting people from around the community.
