The Grants Pass All Americans 9 and 10 year old's little league team dropped their first two games in Portland to end their season.
Nuggets fall to Mustangs; Last weekend of Grants Pass Downs
The Grants Pass Nuggets held on to a 3-2 lead in the seventh inning of the second game of their doubleheader against the Medford Mustangs, but the Mustangs scored nine runs in the in their last at-bat to win the game 11-3 and complete the sweep in American Legion baseball last night.
This is the final weekend of the Grants Pass Downs season. The weekend’s major races include the $6,000 Grants Pass Quarter Horse Derby, the fifth race today, and the Red TRUITT Memorial Handicap.
GP Little Leage Teams to State
Grants Pass’s 9 & 10 year old little league team opens play at the state tournament in Portland tomorrow at 11 facing Murrayhill.
A win in that game will mean a 2:00 pm start on Sunday. A loss means a 5:00 pm start in the double elimination tournament.
GP to State Little League Tourney
The Grants Pass 9 and 10 year American Little League team is headed to the state tournament in Portland with their first game slated for eleven Saturday Morning against an opponent that has yet to be decided.
Grants Pass Send 2 to Little League State Tourney
Grants Pass Little League is sending two team to state tournaments after Friday nights District 8 tournament in Central Point.
