Missing and Endangered Eagle Point Man
Tuesday afternoon the Jackson County Sheriff’s office was notified that John C. Mattos, 39, 5 feet 11 inches tall and about 180 pounds, was missing from an adult foster home in Eagle Point. According to the foster care center, Mattos has a brain injury, one lung, and limited mobility.
Money Measures Voted Down; City Charter Amendments Pass
Both money measures went down to defeat in Tuesday’s special election with similar percentages. A heavy voter turnout saw 51.69 percent of voters casting a ballot.

Medford P.D. Attempting to I.D. Burglar
Monday morning the Medford Police Department was notified of a burglary at Acme Computers on North Riverside. Video surveillance showed the burglary occurred about midday Saturday.
