Christmas Tree Setup Friday; Partial Closure of 5th Street
The setup of the 40 foot tall Christmas tree begins tomorrow in downtown Grants Pass. The setup will result in the partial closure of 5th Street from the alley to G Street to accommodate the Holiday Plaza. The alley will remain open.

Felon Pleads Guilty to Weapons & Drug Charges; Sentenced to 15 Months
Aynsley John Alexander Hand, 28, was sentenced to 15 months in the Department of Corrections by Judge Thomas Hull Thursday morning. Hand pled guilty to charges of unlawful use of a weapon, menacing, being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine.
