Jackson County deputies seek Rogue River man for assault and other charges
The Jackson County Sheriff’s Office is seeking a Rogue River resident on multiple charges who was involved in a domestic disturbance Tuesday at 6:40 a.m. at a residence in the 1400 block of W. Evans Creek Road in Rogue River.

Deputies Searching for White City Man
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is searching for Carlos Ruiz, 30, of White City. Mr. Ruiz has some mental disabilities and severe diabetes which requires daily medication. He is described as Hispanic, 5’4” tall, weighing about 390 pounds, with short black hair, a mustache, and brown eyes.
Fairgrounds Now $100K in the Black
A financial turnaround appears to have gotten the fairgrounds in Josephine County out of a jam that threatened its future. Last fall, the county commissioners said they wouldn't put any more general fund money into the fairgrounds: Either the operation would become self-sustaining, or the fairgrounds would close.
