Family Sues Police & Medford Shop over Son’s Death

Jackson County Farms Sue to End Ban on GMO Crops
Two Jackson County farms have filed suit asking the state court to end the county’s ban on genetically modified crops or force the county to pay them $4.2 million, the value of the crops they would have to destroy.

Fehlhaber sent to prison for Junction Inn shooting
60-year-old Ronald Dale Fehlhaber was sentenced today by Judge Pat Wolke to 90 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections for a shooting at the Junction Inn that left the victim paralyzed.

O’Brien resident sentenced for injuring boy during drunk driving crash
An O’Brien resident pled guilty Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court to injuring a 2-year-old boy in a drunk driving crash in Gold Hill and he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office to Investigate Officer Involved Shooting in Klamath County
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office has agreed to lead the investigation of an officer involved shooting in Klamath County that left one suspect dead and two others arrested. Officers from all three Klamath County Major Crime Team agencies were involved in the shooting.
