O’Brien resident sentenced for injuring boy during drunk driving crash
An O’Brien resident pled guilty Friday in Jackson County Circuit Court to injuring a 2-year-old boy in a drunk driving crash in Gold Hill and he was sentenced to four years in prison.

Jackson County Sheriff’s Office to Investigate Officer Involved Shooting in Klamath County
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office has agreed to lead the investigation of an officer involved shooting in Klamath County that left one suspect dead and two others arrested. Officers from all three Klamath County Major Crime Team agencies were involved in the shooting.

Protestors are picketing the Daily Courier today from noon to 1:00 p.m. due to perceived mistreatment from the paper towards Josephine County Sheriff Gil Gilbertson in the eleventh hour of the November Election.

OSP Weekend Incident Log
Saturday morning at 2:11 a Trooper stopped Heather Elise Cosgrove, 28, for a moving violation near Merlin Avenue and Pleasant Valley Road, and when she showed signs of impairment, she was arrested for DUII and her Toyota was towed.
