Commissioners vote on strategic plan services for the Dimmick Tower
The Josephine County Commissioners during their Weekly Business Session at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday in the Anne Basker Auditorium will vote on the approval of an agreement with Maul Foster & Alongi, Inc., for services related to the strategic plan for the redevelopment of the Dimmick Tower site.

Deputies Searching for White City Man
The Jackson County Sheriff’s office is searching for Carlos Ruiz, 30, of White City. Mr. Ruiz has some mental disabilities and severe diabetes which requires daily medication. He is described as Hispanic, 5’4” tall, weighing about 390 pounds, with short black hair, a mustache, and brown eyes.

Fairgrounds Now $100K in the Black
A financial turnaround appears to have gotten the fairgrounds in Josephine County out of a jam that threatened its future. Last fall, the county commissioners said they wouldn't put any more general fund money into the fairgrounds: Either the operation would become self-sustaining, or the fairgrounds would close.

Oregon State Trooper Incident Log
Sunday afternoon Oregon State Troopers responded to the report of a restraining order violation in the 400 block of Woody Acres Drive. Don Christopher Kuamoo admitted he knew about the restraining order but thought time had run out on it. He was arrested and lodged in the Josephine County Jail.
