Puff’s Smoke Shop Appeals Pot License Denial
Mike Welch, owner of Puff’s Smoke Shop in Ashland, has appealed the state’s decision to deny him a license for a medical marijuana dispensary. He had been operating a dispensary called Siskiyou Medical Supply inside his shop since last year but was ordered to close it on April 30th
ODOT Plan: Narrow Highway 99 Lanes from Medford to Phoenix & Add Bike Lanes
The Oregon Department of Transportation will explain their draft corridor plan at an open house Thursday in Talent. The plan calls for vehicle lanes on highway 99 from Medford to Talent to be narrowed to allow for bike lanes.
Oregon State Trooper’s Incident Log
Sunday morning at about 10:49 a Trooper stopped a Honda Civic that was dragging a large piece of its front bumper on the road. The driver, Ian McLaren, 27, of Williams, stated he heard a noise but didn’t know what it was. Dispatch advised McLaren was driving while suspended and was wanted for a probation violation out of Linn County. He was cited and released plus his Honda was towed.
