Medford P.D. Arrests Suspect Linked to 3 Attempted Kidnappings
Medford Police arrested Fidel Flores-Avalos, 39, of Talent, on a charge of attempted kidnapping in the second degree after a third victim was able to supply a license plate number.

Authorities say missing woman likely died of exposure
Authorities with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office say 46-year-old Rachel Louise Rice, a mentally ill woman who disappeared on Aug. 2, 2005, likely died of exposure and no foul play is suspected in the case.
