The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team, assisted by the Rogue Area Drug Enforcement Team, State Troopers and the Ashland P.D. served a search warrant in the 500 block of 5th Avenue in Ashland resulting in the arrest of Travis Thane Thompson, 48.
In addition to Thompson the residence was occupied by an elderly woman and her daughter who were sub-leasing the garage and a small room outside of the house to the suspect. The residence is within 1,000 feet of the Siskiyou School.
Authorities were looking for evidence of the manufacture, possession and delivery of dimethyltryptamine, commonly known as D M T.
Investigators found an active laboratory containing the ingredients to make D M T and finished product suspected of being D M T. In addition they found marijuana, marijuana “honey oil”, and methamphetamine.
Thompson actively fought with officers and in addition to being charged with unlawful possession, manufacture, and delivery of D M T within 1,000 feet of a school, possession of meth, he is also charged with resisting arrest.
He is lodged in jail.
