“C” Street Shooter Sentenced to 70 Months Hard Time
Judge Pat Wolke sentenced Trevor Lee Walton to 70 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections in a plea arrangement that had Walton pleading guilty to second degree assault with a firearm with two other charges, felon in possession of a firearm and unlawful use of a weapon, being dropped.
Walton, 25, was involved in a physical altercation with Eric Dexter the morning of December 6th, 2012 at 708 Northwest “C” Street. Walton pulled a gun and a struggle over the firearm ensued with the firearm going off, striking Dexter in the leg. Walton then fled the scene.
Dexter recovered from the gunshot wound.
