Second RCC staffer named to OILD
Rogue Community College staff member Lisa Dunagan has been chosen to participate in the Oregon Institute for Leadership Development, a program for Oregon community college employees interested in leadership training and per¨sonal and professional growth.

Dunagan earned a bachelorís degree from University of Nevada, Reno, in ele¨mentary education with a focus in science education. She taught elementary and middle school in Nevada until 2003.
She works in the RCC Educational Partnerships Department as the S.T.E.M. Academy coordinator. The academy is a high school outreach program that introduces students to career opportunities in science, technology, engineering and math through hands-on labs, career pathway exploration and industry tours.

OILD participants are chosen for their professional abilities and potential and their interest in advancement. Also named from RCC was Laurel Pederson, health professions education coordinator. The four-day OILD program is modeled after the National Institute for Leadership Development, also a professional develop¨ment institute for women in higher education and public service.
