Meth dealer arrested in Grants Pass sent to prison as part of Operation Rap It Up
A meth dealer who was arrested as part of Operation Rap It Up, a multi-year sting operation that focused on drug-dealing, prostitution and robbery crimes committed by an organized group of criminals, was sentenced Monday by Judge Owen Panner in Medford to 10 years in federal prison.
Rogue Area Drug Enforcement detectives received word that 39-year-old Earl Allen IV of Klamath Falls and a female accomplice were dealing drugs from a motel room at the Comfort Inn in Grants Pass. Authorities raided the room on June 30, 2013, where they located $3,216 in cash, 95.8 grams of meth, multiple guns, digital scales and drug notes.
Allen pled guilty to being a felon in possession of a firearm and possession of methamphetamine with intent to distribute.
