The Grants Pass Cavemen turned the ball over the first 4 times they touched it last night when the Black Tornado unleashed an aggressive full court defense and cruised to a 70 to 27 pummeling of the young Cavemen at North Medford.

The Cavemen will lick their wounds and return to the friendly confines of Heater Neuman gym Friday night to face Eagle Point.

Elsewhere the South Panthers had their way with the Crater Comets coming away with a 66 to 49 victory. Roseburg beat Ashland 75 to 25 in Roseburg.

The North Valley Knights remain unbeaten downing Mazama last night 85 to 61. The Klamath Union Pelican beat the Hidden Valley Mustangs 36 to 33 last night in Murphy.

The 3A classification had Illinois Valley victorious over Lost River 59 to 46 and St Mary’s beat Rogue River 53 to 33.
