Teenager taken to hospital after crash on I-5
A teenager was taken to the hospital Monday after she crashed her car at approximately 8:30 a.m. on I-5 around milepost 58 northbound.

According to troopers, 16-year-old Kassidy S. Begg was driving her 1997 Mercury Grand Marquis too fast when she encountered icy road conditions and spun the vehicle crashing into the center concrete median.

Paramedics transported Begg to Three Rivers Medical Center for observation and she was cited for speeding.
