A statewide Amber Alert was canceled this morning an hour after it was issued when the suspect was captured and the child was found safe.

The alert was issued at approximately 8:00 a.m. today after 5-year-old Skylar Coulcer-Jarding was kidnapped from his home in The Dalles, Ore., at 2005 West 9th Street.

Authorities sent out the alert to locate the suspect, 36-year-old Brian DePriest, who was driving a light blue 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier.

Police located the vehicle and arrested DePriest and returned Skylar to his family unharmed.
