Alleged Levi’s Market robber arraigned in court
The alleged robber of Levi’s Market was arraigned Friday in Josephine County Circuit Court on charges of first-degree robbery, unlawful use of a weapon and possession of heroin.

According to the Oregon State Police, 24-year-old Justin Sean Palmer entered the market, located at 3540 Demaray Drive, on Tuesday with a bandana covering his face and possessing a handgun. He stole cash from the clerk and fled the scene.

The clerk told troopers he recognized the suspect and had seen Palmer in the store earlier that day. The clerk said Palmer was even wearing the same clothes and the only difference was that he wore the bandana during the robbery.

Investigators executed a search warrant Thursday at Palmer’s residence at 380 Cedar Springs Drive where he was apprehended. A search of the residence also revealed a gram of heroin in addition to evidence pertaining to the robbery.

Palmer is being held in jail on $50,000 bail.
