The Waldorf inspired Madrone Trail Charter School and Logos Public Charter School for home school students have each applied for renewals with the Medford School District and Monday every parent from each of the schools urged the school board to renew the schools contracts.

Last March parents drafted a petition to change the bylaws of the Madrone Trail board, fearing several changes in board members had led to a drift from the schools original mission. Monday night the parents still wished for the charter to be renewed for 5 years.

Parents from Logos also expressed support for the renewal of that school’s charter and detailed the benefits of sending their children to Logos.
