Josephine County was awarded a check for $258,000 from Energy Trust of Oregon at the Wednesday Business Session. The check stems from the heating and air conditioning ventilation system remodel in the justice building. The $608,000 project was completed with no county general funds expended due to grants and incentives.

The commissioners approved the appointment of Jim Brumbach and Patrick Fahey to three year terms on the Josephine County Budget Committee.

The commissioners moved the approval of an Intergovernmental Agreement between Jackson County and Josephine County for geographic information service as required by the Southern Oregon Region Pilot Project to map outlining of areas to aid in land use planning. Jackson County will bill Josephine County for time and materials not to exceed $24,000.
