Crater High Remains Closed
Crater High School in Central Point remains closed, at least through today, after a broken water main caused extensive damage over the weekend, leaving around two inches of water in the Crater Renaissance Academy, one of the campus’s three small schools.

Administrators say that when classes resume Renaissance Academy students will be moved, either to the gym, library, or student center.

Repairs to the flooring to prevent mold will take weeks to finish. Electricity and water were turned back on yesterday and a temporary boiler for heat is expected late this afternoon.
