The recent dry and unseasonable warm weather will come to an end tonight according to a winter weather advisory from the National Weather Service.

The advisory, in effect from 4:00 p.m. this afternoon to 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, predicts two to six inches of snow above 2500 feet in the Kalmiopsis Wilderness area.

The snow is expected to remain above major highways and population centers but will impact areas above 2500 feet.
