Two Jailed after Burglarizing Home Live on Surveillance Video
Two Medford men are in jail on burglary charges after having been seen in the act on surveillance video by a homeowner at work.

Medford police responded to the report of burglary in progress in the 200 block of North Berkeley Way. The report came from the homeowner who had recently installed security cameras to show live streaming video.

While at work the wife checked the cameras, saw two men inside her home and called police.

Officers arrived at the home’s front door as the alleged burglars were exiting in possession of jewelry and $900 in cash.

Lodged in jail are Clayton James Lappat, 22, and Broc Alan Atkinson, 22. Both are being held in lieu of $24,000 bail.
