Forestland-Urban Interface Committee Meets Friday
The Josephine County Forestland/Urban Interface Classification Committee meets tomorrow at 1:00 p.m. in the Parkway Fire Station at 800 East Park Street. The committee will review the classification maps created by the previous committee and consider changes to the fire risk classifications.

The Committee focuses on developed urban and suburban lands that are in areas where potentially destructive wildfires are likely to occur, and where there is a structural density of at least four dwellings per 40 acres.

The meeting is being facilitated by the Southwest District of the Oregon Department of Forestry.
