The Sheldon Irish shutout the young Grants Pass Caveman baseball team Thursday afternoon 8 to 0. Gaje McDaniel gave the Irish all the offense they needed by pounding a homerun and a double for three RBI’s and scoring twice himself.

Cameron Mathews was two for two at the plate and garnered a walk for the Cavemen.

In other action it was Crater over Thurston 3 to 2, South Medford shutout Klamath Union 10-0 in five innings and North Medford defeated Henley 8 to 1.
