Douglas Complex fires grow to over 13,000 acres
The Douglas Complex of Fires has grown to roughly 13,400 acres and is centered seven miles north of Glendale.
The number of fires is decreasing due to several fires merging.
400 structures are being threatened in Douglas County and evacuations have been issued on Cow Creek Road from Riddle into the fire area, McCullough Creek Road, Reuben Road and Mount Reuben Road.
A Red Cross Evacuation Center has been established at Glendale Elementary School and assistance is offered free to everyone. A town hall meeting will be held at Glendale Elementary at 6:30 p.m. to discuss current fire information.
