Multimillion Dollar Medford Housing Project Before Planning Commission
A multimillion dollar housing and commercial complex dubbed the Stewart Meadows Village on 79 acres on highway 99 across from Wal-Mart will be back before the Medford Planning Commission this Thursday night.
The Commission will consider proposed changes, mostly involving improving roadways for bikes and pedestrians, and should the developer get the stamp of approval, construction could start next year.
The project calls for 190 residential units above office and retail space plus about 480,000 square feet of commercial space. The initial development would occur on the western portion of the property nearest the golf course.
