Suspected Drug Dealer Busted in Ashland
Friday morning about 10:30 the Medford Drug and Gang Enforcement Team stopped a 2004 Volvo utility vehicle with California plates at the intersection of Eagle Mill Road and Butler Creek Road in Ashland, being driven by Saul Rosales, 36, believed to be from the Santa Rosa area.
Investigators had received information Rosales was involved in large scale methamphetamine distribution throughout Southern Oregon. A police K-9 alerted on the vehicle and a search revealed about nine ounces of crystal meth broken down for sale in nine packages.
Rosales was jailed with bail set at $1,015,000 on charges of unlawful manufacture, possession and delivery of methamphetamine.
