At 9:15 this morning, a Medford Detective saw Ramonito Lloyd Salvador, 34, walking near his home at 11th and Lincoln and arrested him without incident on ten counts of first degree forgery.
The Medford Area Drug and Gang Enforcement Team had been looking for Salvador since serving a search warrant on his home August 29th, where evidence was discovered that Salvador was manufacturing counterfeit U.S. currency in $10, $20 and $100 denominations.
Salvador was not at home during the search and investigators have not been able to locate him until today. Salvador, also known as “D.J. Hype”, was wearing a blonde wig covered by a beanie style hat to disguise his identity when arrested.
He is being held in lieu of $50,000 bail.
