Richard Koep Sentenced to 18 Months
Richard Brian Koep, 23, was sentenced to 18 months in the Oregon Department of Corrections by Judge Pat Wolke today. Koep pled guilty to first degree burglary.
Richard and his older brother, Christopher, were arrested last December after attempting to rob the D Street Rite-Aid by attempting to remove the cash drawer, then going to the 6th Street Wendy’s where Christopher forcefully removed the cash drawer and fled to a teal colored van being driven by Richard.
Police stopped them 30 minutes later and recovered evidence linking the pair to the Rite-Aid and Wendy’s robberies and a search of the home provided additional evidence to earlier robberies.
