Josephine County Public Works has announced that Leonard Road near Redwood Elementary School will be closed through the end of this week for a water line installation.
The closure at 3163 Leonard Road starts today and is expected to last through Friday to all traffic -- including emergency vehicles. The work should be finished before the start of school next week.
Access for teachers and parents to Redwood Elementary will be under flagger control. All other motorists will be detoured around the work zone. The traveling public is advised to find alternate routes.
Josephine County Public Works understands this is a significant inconvenience for residents and motorists, and they appreciate your patience and cooperation during the project.
