GP Police Cited Downtown Cannabis Business for City Signage Code Violation
Grants Pass Police cited a downtown cannabis business for an ordinance violation early yesterday.
According to the Police Department, community service officers cited Diamond Cannabis on SW 6th Street for a violation involving signage.
Officers said the business had more than one A-frame sign on the sidewalk when only one is allowed. They said the business had already been warned once for the city code violation.
The store manager was brought up to speed on the violation and they immediately removed the second sign after receiving clarification on the guidelines involving signs in the downtown area.
