California Motorist Injured after Crashing Vehicle on Freeway near Wolf Creek

A California motorist was injured after crashing his vehicle on Interstate 5 near Wolf Creek late last night.

The Oregon State Police reports troopers and emergency personnel responded to the single-vehicle wreck in the southbound lanes of I-5 near milepost 78 on Monday at 10:04 p.m..

Troopers said an investigation indicated a Hyundai Santa Cruz driven by a 34-year-old Sacramento, California, man was traveling too fast for the road conditions and he lost control in the heavy rain. The man was transported by ambulance to Three Rivers Medical Center for evaluation after he complained of pain.

According to OSP, the wrecked vehicle was towed to Glendale.

Following the investigation, the driver was warned for Violating the Basic Rule.
