On Sunday at 3:46 p.m., IVFD and the Josephine County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to a small vehicle fire on Redwood Highway in the Sauers Flat area.
The fire was successfully extinguished and no injuries were reported. The vehicle owner made arrangements to have their vehicle towed to Cave Junction.
On Sunday at 10 p.m., IVFD, Rural Metro Fire Department and American Medical Response were dispatched to a large vehicle fire near the intersection of Thompson Creek Road and Briar Lane. It was initially reported as a structure fire.
