GP Police Arrested Noisy Pair for Causing Weekend Disturbance at Tussing Park
Grants Pass Police arrested two people for causing a weekend disturbance at a city park.
According to the Police Department, officers responded to the incident involving 41-year-old Isaac Whaley and 48-year-old Melissa Dawn Anderson at Tussing Park on Saturday around 6:25 p.m..
Police said a neighbor to the park called 9-1-1 to report hearing an unknown number of subjects yelling at each other at the park. The caller said they could hear the disturbance from Spruce Street and the subjects were "not tax-paying citizens."
Officers arrived at the park and determined Whaley and Anderson had engaged in violent, tumultuous and threatening behavior as well as unreasonable noise.
Whaley and Anderson were placed into custody and lodged in jail for Disorderly Conduct. Both were also trespassed from the park for 30 days.
