Grants Pass Police Arrested Corrections Client on Jackson County Warrants
Grants Pass Police arrested a Josephine County Community Corrections client on two outstanding warrants early yesterday.
The Police Department reports officers responded to the incident at the Community Corrections Office on NW 4th Street on Wednesday shortly before 10 a.m..
Police said 61-year-old Rex Stansell's corrections officer alerted them that his client was wanted on two Jackson County warrants for failing to appear for Fraud and Unlawful Possession of Meth. He was in the office lobby and unaware that he was about to be arrested.
Stansell was cited to appear in court on the warrants and then released. He has an appointment to appear in a Medford courtroom on June 11th at 9 a.m..
