Deputies Nabbed Motorist for Impaired Driving after Redwood Highway Stop

The Josephine County Sheriff's Office arrested a motorist for impaired driving early yesterday following a Redwood Highway traffic stop in SW Grants Pass.

According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies pulled over a Toyota pickup driven by 28-year-old Cameron Masters on US Highway 199 near Dowell Road on Monday at 1:04 a.m..

Deputies said they stopped Masters for observed traffic violations and he showed several indicators of impairment. He was placed into custody after he performed poorly in field sobriety tests.

Masters was cited for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and lodged at the Grants Pass Sobering Center. His pickup was impounded.
