GP Police Apprehended Man on Local Warrants in Patrol Check at Resting Site
Grants Pass Police apprehended a man wanted on two local warrants during a patrol check at a downtown resting site early yesterday.
According to the Police Department, officers contacted 28-year-old Aleksandr Uchytil at the 6th & A Street resting site on Monday around 8:40 a.m..
Police said they were on patrol when they spotted Uchytil and knew that he was wanted on two Grants Pass warrants for failing to appear in court for Attempted Escape and Possession of Fentanyl. He was placed into custody without incident.
Uchytil was lodged at the Josephine County Jail and he was being held without bail.
