GPCC Workshop Features Art Motion, Public Safety Funding & Exec Session
The Grants Pass City Council will hold a workshop session today after canceling the one scheduled two weeks ago.
The City Council will open the workshop with consideration of a Committee on Public Art motion for activation of the Redwood Alley mural.
Next up is a staff presentation and continued discussion on funding for public safety services. A long-term solution to fund police and fire services has so far proven elusive.
Following a review of the agenda for Wednesday night's regular meeting, Mayor Clint Scherf will convene a Special Meeting in Executive Session. The closed-door meeting includes consideration of information or records that are exempt from public inspection, and consultation with legal counsel regarding current or likely litigation.
Today's workshop begins at 11:45 a.m. in the City Council Chambers at Grants Pass City Hall, 101 NW A Street.
