Deputies Nabbed Motorist for DUII after He Crashed into Ditch on Riverbanks
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office arrested a motorist for impaired driving after he crashed a truck into a ditch in the Shan Creek area late last week.
According to the Sheriff's Office, deputies and emergency crews responded to the single-vehicle wreck on Riverbanks Road near Shan Creek Road on Friday around 1:45 a.m..
Deputies said identified the driver of the pickup as 36-year-old Logan Kine and said he displayed signs of impairment. They said he performed poorly in field sobriety tests and was transported to the Grants Pass Sobering Center.
Kine was cited to appear in court for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. The license plates did not match the vehicle, which was impounded.
