OSP Arrested GP Motorist for DUII after Weekend Stop in the Downtown Area
The Oregon State Police arrested a Grants Pass motorist for impaired driving following a weekend traffic stop in the downtown area.
OSP reports troopers pulled over a Toyota Avalon driven by 34-year-old Michael Luke Jessee near the corner of SE 7th and M streets on Sunday at 12:12 a.m..
Troopers said they stopped Jessee for observed traffic violations and he displayed signs of impairment. They said he performed poorly in field sobriety tests and was taken to the Sobering Center where he provided a breath sample that exceeded the legal driving limit.
Jessee was lodged at the Sobering Center after being cited for Driving Under the Influence of Intoxicants and Reckless Driving. His vehicle was impounded.
