GP Police Arrested Woman for Drug Possession in Texas Property Patrol Check
Grants Pass Police arrested a woman for drug possession early yesterday during a patrol check on a riverside property near Baker Park.
According to the Police Department, officers contacted 28-year-old Jessica Ann Tope on the Texas Property in the 900-block of East Park Street on Tuesday right before 10 a.m..
Police said Tope initially provided a false name when they observed several rinse bags with white residue sticking out of her purse. She was detained and resisted slightly during the handcuffing process. She stated that she did not use drugs, but the substance found in the baggies tested positive as methamphetamine.
Tope was lodged in jail for Meth Possession. She was also warned for Furnishing False Information to Police.
