GP Police Snared Man on Warrant while Investigating Trespassing Complaint
Grants Pass Police arrested a man on an out-of-county warrant while investigating a trespassing complaint in the Redwood area yesterday.
The Police Department reports officers responded to the call in the 1300-block of Raydean Drive on Tuesday around 11:15 a.m..
Police said a tenant called 9-1-1 to report multiple subjects on the property with a truck and trailer. The caller said they are in the process of fixing the house so they can move back in. They added that there has been an ongoing issue with transients trespassing and camping on the property.
Officers arrived on scene and contacted multiple subjects including 51-year-old John Harsen. He was found to be wanted on a warrant issued by his corrections officer in an unspecified county.
Harsen was placed into custody and lodged in jail on the warrant. He and the others were trespassed from the property.
