Deputies Collared Man on Local Warrant in Tuesday Night Contact West of GP
The Josephine County Sheriff's Office arrested a man on a local warrant late last night after contacting him on a rural road west of Grants Pass.
The Sheriff's Office reports deputies contacted 49-year-old Bret Leon Court-Murphy in the 1900-block of Gunnell Road on Tuesday around 11:30 p.m..
Deputies did not disclose the nature of the contact, but they said Court-Murphy was wanted on a Josephine County warrant for failing to appear in court for Harassment and Resisting Arrest.
The suspect was said to be "cooperative" while being placed into custody.
Court-Murphy was transported to Grants Pass and lodged at the Josephine County Jail on the warrant.
