Emergency Crews Dispatched to Cave Junction Structure Fire
Emergency crews responded to a structure fire in the 600 block Jeannie Way in Cave Junction Wednesday at 2:40 p.m.
The Illinois Valley Fire District, American Medical Response, the Josephine County Sheriff's Office, and Rural Metro Fire Department were dispatched to the fire.
Units arrived and discovered a single structure significantly damaged by flames. The fire was quickly extinguished, and there has been no spread to the wildland.
Rural Metro was canceled and covered the fire district while the fire was being controlled.
Crews conducted mop-up operations. The incident is under investigation.
