Greyhound Passenger in Possession of Methamphetamine Arrested by GP Police

Grants Pass Police lodged a man for Methamphetamine Possession after he caused a scene on a Greyhound bus.

The bus driver called 911 Saturday around 8:10 a.m. to report a passenger that was doing meth. He had been asked to get off the bus but reportedly refused. The driver then told dispatch the suspect was being verbally aggressive to others on board.

The suspect, Edwin Doster, was contacted by arriving officers at the Greyhound Bus Stop, 605 NE 7th Street. He was reportedly highly erratic and animated, displaying indicators of impairment. Doster was detained, and a consent search of his person took place.

Officers located meth residue on paraphernalia that tested positive after field testing. Doster was taken into custody, then transported to the Josephine County Jail where he was lodged for Possession of Meth. He was later released due to a lack of resources.
