Every Child Oregon
Last year, in the state of Oregon alone, over 11,200 children spent time in foster care and over 66% of those children spent time in more than one foster home. Many were split from their siblings. DHS works to place children in foster homes, but there are simply not enough people stepping up to help these families in crisis. Many children will be left without the care, comfort and safety of a loving home if we do not find more caring people to open their hearts and their homes. We can do more for Oregon's children! Learn how you can help at everychildoregon.org
Safe Families for Children
"Safe Families for Children" is a national movement of compassion that gives hope to families in crisis. A network of volunteers in Josephine County provides safe, loving homes for parents to voluntarily have their children cared for while the parent restores stability in their own life. Homelessness, unemployment, hospitalization, drug or alcohol rehab, domestic violence, if you are in crisis or know a family in crisis, please call 541-244-8449.
