GP Police Arrested Man for Suspected Crimes Committed against Woman
Grants Pass Police jailed a man for probable cause of crimes he committed against a woman two weeks ago.
The Police Department reports officers arrested a 41-year-old male subject in the 700-block of NE 12th Street on Tuesday at 12:18 a.m..
Police said they responded to a trespassing complaint at that address after a woman reported the subject was at her house repeatedly knocking on the window while calling her name. The caller stated officers came to her home two weeks ago after he broke in and attacked her, but he fled the area and was not located.
According to the report, the subject's Chevrolet Silverado pickup was in the woman's driveway and a BOLO had been issued for his arrest.
Officers arrived on scene and placed the subject into custody. He was lodged at the Josephine County Jail for probable cause of 1st-Degree Burglary, Strangulation and Physical Harassment. He was being held without bail.
