The City of Grants Pass invites citizens to enter the 2024 Water Quality Report photo contest, with amateur and professional photographers encouraged to enter.

Winning photos will be featured in the 2024 Water Quality Report that will be released early next year.

Submit an original photo that demonstrates the theme of "Reimagine Our Water Future." Photos must be submitted in a digital format suitable for reproduction.

Submitted photographs must be from one frame captured by a camera and images created by artificial intelligence are not allowed. Photos must be taken in Southern Oregon in Josephine, Jackson, Curry or Klamath counties.

Entries will be judged based on creativity, originality and theme relevance. Entries become the property of the City of Grants Pass. Judges' decisions are final.

Prizes will be awarded in three categories: K-12, amateur and professional. The first place winners will receive $200 while the second place winners will receive $100.

The winning photos will be featured in the 2024 Water Quality Report, on social media, in promotional activities and recognized during a Grants Pass City Council meeting.

The entry deadline is 5 p.m. on December 27th.

Submit entries to "smorgan@grantspassoregon.gov."
